About Me
The spirit of revival lives deep within my story. As a late bloomer lesbian, I have been rewriting and reviving my life since 2023. After I decided to start living my authentic life by coming out, I began to evaluate other aspects of my life.
I had a lifelong goal of building my own home, but knew that in order to do this, I needed to learn how to actually build and use some tools. This realization eventually led me to taking a week long carpentry class at Yestermorrow in Vermont, a journey through The Artist's Way with former Yestermorrow classmates and finally landing a spot in the carpentry program at North Bennet Street School.
Carpentry combines nearly all of my best skills and passions, and I feel called to do share my passion of the trade with others while creating a safe and welcoming service to every client.
Outside of carpentry:
I am a born and raised Rhode Islander, an Ithaca College Graduate, A former Buffalonian, a mediocre pool player, and a huge travel enthusiast! I nerd out on antiques, architecture, and the PWHL (Boston Fleet fan, obviously).
Sustainability Promise:
I am a LEED and WELL AP and previously consulted on green building certifications for buildings in Boston and New York City. I gained a wealth of knowledge and a strong passion for healthy and sustainable building products through this work. To the best of my ability, I aim to choose products that have passed the same strict standards and certifications required on LEED and WELL certified buildings.
